Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Discount Thrive (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by Thrive Collective Ltd, 5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG, United Kingdom, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use discountthrive.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
The short version: we do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, address, or payment details. We use standard analytics and advertising tools that collect limited technical data, and we explain each of them below.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly. Only if you choose to:
- Newsletter signup: your email address, when you subscribe to deal alerts via our signup form (processed by MailerLite). You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email.
- Contact messages: whatever you include when you contact us (typically your name, email address, and message).
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically collect limited technical data when you visit:
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4): pages visited, approximate location (city/country level), device and browser type, and how you interact with pages (for example, clicks on coupon buttons, which help us measure which guides are useful). IP addresses are processed by Google under its own terms; we do not store them ourselves.
- Advertising (Google AdSense): Google may use cookies to serve personalized ads and measure their performance. See “Cookies” below.
- Log data: our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted.
Information from affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link on our site, you pass through an affiliate network’s tracking domain (such as Impact, Rakuten, Tradedoubler, PartnerBoost, CJ, or Skimlinks) before reaching the retailer. Those networks may set their own cookies to credit the sale. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service (for example, understanding which guides readers find useful).
- Send deal alert emails, but only if you subscribed, and only until you unsubscribe.
- Respond to your messages.
- Display advertising that keeps the site free.
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We and our providers use them for:
- Strictly necessary: remembering your cookie consent choice (via our CookieYes consent banner).
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 cookies that help us understand aggregate usage.
- Advertising: Google AdSense cookies used to serve and measure ads, which may include personalized advertising based on your interests.
- Affiliate tracking: cookies set by affiliate networks when you click an outbound deal link, used solely to credit referrals.
When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies. You can also control cookies through your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking cookies may affect some site features (for example, affiliate tracking will not credit us if you block those cookies, which is fine, it just means we do not earn commission on that visit).
4. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: newsletter email addresses until you unsubscribe; contact messages for as long as needed to handle your request; server logs for a limited rolling period. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s settings (14 months).
5. Your Rights
Because we are based in the United Kingdom, UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) applies. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data or delete your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent (for example, unsubscribe from emails) at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us. We will respond within one month.
6. International Transfers
Our service providers (Google, MailerLite) may process data outside the UK/EEA, including in the United States. Where this happens, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy arrangements.
7. Children’s Privacy
Discount Thrive is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
9. Contact
For any privacy question or request: use our Contact page, or write to Thrive Collective Ltd, 5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG, United Kingdom.
